4 bacon strips, cut to small pieces
2 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
3 tbsp olive oil
3 tbsp pepper flakes
2 large eggs, or 4 small eggs
6 tbsp parmigiano cheese, parmesan will do
1 tbsp parsley
What to do:
Place bacon pieces in saucepan with olive oil and papper flakes, salt to taste. Place saucepan on VERY low heat for 15 minutes. Bacon should brown very slowly, so all the fat is out.
Meanwhile, beat eggs and cheese
Cook fettucine, drain and place in serving bowl. Quickly spoon hot contents of saucepan over it (that’s right, bacon, fat, the whole deal). Toss gently. Add egg mixture and toss again. The heat of the pasta cooks the eggs! Serve with more cheese.
